Six-Days Value Added Course on MERN Stack

The Department of Computer Applications organized a Six-Day(09.03.2026 to 16.03.2026)Value Added Course on MERN Stack to enhance students' knowledge and skills in full-stack web development. The program focused on the technologies MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, which together form the MERN Stack used for building modern web applications.

The course was conducted over six days with sessions handled by two experienced resource persons, L. Petchimuthu and B. Arun Kumar, Developers at Marcellotech, Trichy, who provided both theoretical explanations and practical demonstrations.

During these six days, the resource persons introduced the students to the components of the MERN Stack, such as MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js, and explained how they are used to build full-stack web applications. Students learned both frontend and backend development along with database connectivity through practical sessions. Hands-on training helped them gain experience in developing simple web applications and understanding modern web technologies. The course was very interactive and improved the students’ technical knowledge and skills.
