Orientation Programme for the II MCA students
The Department of Computer Applications organized an Orientation Programme for the II MCA students at the beginning of the academic year. The programme was conducted to familiarize students with the department's objectives, academic expectations, and institutional guidelines for the upcoming semester.
The session was led by the Class Advisor, who warmly welcomed the students and provided an overview of the department's Vision and Mission. The Vision and Mission were explained in detail, emphasizing the department's commitment to academic excellence, professional ethics, innovation, lifelong learning, and preparing students to become competent IT professionals capable of meeting industry and societal needs.
The Class Advisor also explained the Code of Conduct, highlighting the importance of maintaining discipline, punctuality, regular attendance, professional behavior, and respect for faculty members, staff, and fellow students. Students were encouraged to uphold the values of integrity, responsibility, teamwork, and ethical conduct throughout their academic journey.
In addition, the students were informed about classroom etiquette, academic regulations, internal assessment procedures, and the importance of active participation in curricular and co-curricular activities. They were motivated to make the best use of the opportunities provided by the department to enhance their technical knowledge, communication skills, and overall personality.
The Orientation Programme concluded with an interactive session, during which students clarified their doubts regarding academic activities and departmental practices. The programme served as a valuable platform to acquaint students with the department's expectations and inspired them to pursue their studies with dedication and enthusiasm.
