The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was started in the year 2009 with an intake of 60. The Department maintains high quality of teaching and learning process with the help of well qualified faculty members.EEE is the oldest of the engineering streams, and its applications are many.The objective of this program is to train and develop skilled engineers in the power engineering domain comprising of generation, transmission and distribution of electrical energy, to serve as electronics engineers in the design and development of circuits for different types of electronics systems, to design and develop special purpose integrated circuits, to develop software solutions for Electrical /Electronics engineering applications.As technology has advanced, so have the challenges facing the modern engineer. EEE is a subject that naturally partners with other disciplines to open whole new engineering avenues.
The EEE Department is dedicated to delivering competent electrical engineers to the arena of the real world. They are outfitted with core technical knowledge as well as professional skills necessary to face the challenges of the future. The aim of this department is to produce Engineers with self discipline, high integrity and good personality by providing excellent engineering education and training.
The students can be well equipped with the understanding of working and application of electric systems and engineering. There are equally good opportunities for jobs in electrical engineering industry and higher education. There is lot of multidisciplinary research for developing electric vehicles with great funding and scope all over there world. On the same time good opportunities back home in industry. Engineering knowledge: Apply the Mathematical knowledge and the basics of Science and Engineering to solve the problems pertaining to Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering.
Problem analysis: Identify and formulate Electrical and Electronics Engineering problems from research literature and be ability to analyze the problem using first principles of Mathematics and Engineering Sciences.
Design/development of solutions: Come out with solutions for the complex problems and to design system components or process that fulfill the particular needs taking into account public health and safety and the social, cultural and environmental issues.
Conduct investigations of complex problems: Draw well-founded conclusions applying the knowledge acquired from research and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data and synthesis of information and to arrive at significant conclusion.
Modern tool usage: Form, select and apply relevant techniques, resources and Engineering and IT tools for Engineering activities like electronic prototyping, modeling and control of systems and also being conscious of the limitations.
The engineer and society: Understand the role and responsibility of the Professional Electrical and Electronics Engineer and to assess societal, health, safety issues based on the reasoning received from the contextual knowledge.
