The inaugural ceremony of the Mechanical Engineering Association was held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Rohini College of Engineering and Technology. We are thankful to the College Chairman, Mr. Neela Marthandan, Pro-Chairman, Dr. Neela Vishnu, Managing Director, Dr. Blessy Geo, and Principal Dr. R. Rajesh, who presided over the function.

The ceremony commenced with the invocation of the Tamil Thaai Vazhthu. Mr. T. Sajin Raj, Final year student delivered the welcome address. Followed by, Dr. R. Rajesh, Principal delivered the presidential address. The Chief Guest for the function Mr. N. Selvarajan, Chief General Manager & Head, IREL, delivered an insightful technical address, offering valuable career guidance and industry insights to the students.

The Head of the Department, Dr. S. Kailainathan, introduced the newly appointed association office-bearers to the gathering. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. B. Kavinidhi, a final year student. The ceremony concluded with the singing of the National Anthem. The arrangements for the event were meticulously coordinated by the Association Coordinator, Mr. K. Rajasuthan, Assistant Professor, along with the support of all the faculty members of the department of Mechanical Engineering.
