Robotics Club
The Robotics Club of Rohini College of Engineering & Technology organized a hands-on activity on 14 March 2026 to encourage students to develop practical knowledge in robotics and automation. The activity was conducted on the college campus and focused on the design and development of a robotic car.
The main objective of the activity was to introduce students to the fundamentals of robotics, including electronic components, motor control, and basic programming. During the session, students worked in teams to design, assemble, and test a robotic car using motors, wheels, sensors, and a microcontroller. They learned how different components work together to control the movement and functionality of the car.
The Robotics Club members guided the participants throughout the activity, explaining the working principles of circuits, motor drivers, and power supply connections. Students actively participated in assembling the chassis, connecting electronic components, and programming the car for movement such as forward, backward, and turning directions.
This practical activity helped students improve their technical skills, teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. It also provided an opportunity for them to understand the real-world application of robotics concepts learned in the classroom.
The event was highly interactive and successful, as students showed great enthusiasm while building and testing their robotic cars. The activity concluded with a demonstration of the working models developed by the students.
Overall, the Robotics Club activity was a valuable learning experience that motivated students to explore further innovations in the field of robotics and technology.
