CSE-Three Days Workshop on “Augmented Reality vs Virtual Reality"
On behalf of the Department of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science and the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, we are delighted to express our sincere gratitude to our Honourable Chairman Sir, Respected Pro-Chairman Sir, Managing Director Ma’am, and Principal Sir for providing the students with a valuable opportunity to participate in the Three Days Workshop on “Augmented Reality vs Virtual Reality,” held from 26th to 28th February 2026.
The students actively participated in this workshop and gained valuable knowledge about AR/VR technologies and their real-world applications. The program included hands-on training on Blender tools such as modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and compositing, as well as practical sessions on Unity basics, Unity animations, Vuforia setup, AR foundation setup, Web AR/VR setup, VR app development, and IoT integration in AR/VR/MR environments.
We extend our special thanks to the esteemed resource persons Mr. M. Ezhil Kumar, CEO & Founder, 3Dot Animation Studio; Mr. M. Rajesh, 3D Designer, 3Dot Animation Studio; and Mr. K. Sankar, CTO & Founder, Focus AR Solutions Pvt. Ltd. for delivering highly informative sessions enriched with practical demonstrations and real-time examples. Their expertise and industry insights significantly enhanced the students’ understanding of immersive technologies and development tools.
Overall, the workshop was an enriching and productive learning experience. It provided students with hands-on exposure to 3D design, AR/VR development, and immersive technology platforms, encouraging them to explore innovative applications in the field of Augmented and Virtual Reality.
