The Department of Mechanical Engineering, through its TechnoTorque Association, inaugurated a two-day workshop on “Industrial Design and Drafting” on 23 July 2026 in the CAD/CAM Laboratory for II-year Mechanical Engineering students. The workshop will be conducted for the two days: 23.07.2026 and 24.07.2026. The session is being conducted by Mr. S. Kumaresan, B.E., MBA., Technical Manager, CAD Arts, Thiruvallur . During the inaugural session, Dr. S. Kailainathan, Professor and Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, introduced the resource person and motivated the students to actively participate in the workshop to strengthen their industrial design, drafting, and CAD skills. The workshop aims to provide practical exposure to modern industrial design practices and enhance students' employability through hands-on learning and industry-oriented training.
