Our Second year MCA students of Rohini College of Engineering and Technology, had the valuable opportunity to attend a three-day Placement Training Program conducted at Louis Braille Hall, located within the District Collector’s Office, Nagercoil, from 14th to 16th July 2025. The sessions were held in the forenoon from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM each day and were specifically designed to enhance employability skills and prepare students for placement and career success. The training program focused on four major skill-building modules:

• Communication Skills
• Resume Writing
• Presentation Skills
• Interview Skills & HR Interaction

     Each session was interactive, practical, and thoughtfully delivered by experienced professionals who provided real-time insights into the expectations of the corporate world. The communication skills module improved our speaking confidence and active listening, while the resume writing session taught us how to draft impactful and professional resumes tailored to industry standards. The presentation skills training helped us structure and deliver content confidently, and the interview skills & HR interaction module included mock interview sessions, HR tips, and insights into what employers look for in candidates.
