The Department of Computer Applications organized a One Day Workshop on the topic “Corporate Expectations from Freshers” on 12th March 2025. The session was conducted with the aim of bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, and to equip students with insights into what the corporate world expects from fresh graduates. The event commenced with a warm welcome by the faculty and students, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Our respected Principal Sir delivered the Presidential Address, emphasizing the importance of such workshops in moulding students’ professional attitudes.
The workshop was graced by our Chief Guest, Ms. Sudha, HR, Cape Start Software Private Ltd, Nagercoil. She delivered a highly informative and interactive session, shedding light on the current trends in hiring, soft skills, technical readiness, adaptability, and the proactive mindset expected from freshers in today’s competitive job market. The students actively participated in the session and gained valuable knowledge on how to prepare themdelves for successful corporate careers.
