On July 26, 2025, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering(AI&ML), in collaboration with the Computer Society of India (CSI) at Rohini College of Engineering & Technology (RCET), conducted the installation of office bearers and inaugurated the CSI student chapter. The inauguration was graced by the presence Shri K. Neela Marthandan, Chairman, Dr. N. Neela Vishnu, Pro-Chairman, Dr. V. M. Blessy Geo, Managing Director, Dr. R. Rajesh, Principal. Their leadership provided invaluable support in organizing the event. The program was coordinated by Dr. I. Vallirathi, Associate Professor and Head of the Department, ensuring its smooth execution. The course was inaugurated by Dr. R. Rajesh, Principal, marking the commencement of the CSI student chapter activities. The newly elected office bearers of the Association members were introduced by Dr. I. Vallirathi, Associate Professor and Head of the Department, emphasizing the leadership roles students would undertake. Mr. Rabin Delver, Director of Operations & Administration at Court Road Networkz Systems, Nagercoil, delivered a session on career development and the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. His insights captivated the students, sparking a keen interest in these domains. The program concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the management, principal, head of the department, faculty, and non-teaching staff, whose support was instrumental in the success of the event. This inauguration not only marked the establishment of the CSI student chapter at RCET but also set the stage for future initiatives aimed at enhancing the technical acumen and professional growth of students in the field of Computer science and Engineering.
