Hands on Training on Data Craft: Practical DBMS Skills
On Aug 13, 2025, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML), in collaboration with the Computer Society of India (CSI) at Rohini College of Engineering & Technology (RCET), conducted a Hands-on Training on “Data Craft: Practical DBMS Skills” in the Department of CSE (AI & ML).
The inauguration was graced by the presence of Shri K. Neela Marthandan (Chairman), Dr. N. Neela Vishnu (Pro-Chairman), Dr. V. M. Blessy Geo (Managing Director), and Dr. R. Rajesh (Principal), whose leadership provided invaluable support in organizing the event.
The program commenced with a welcome address by Ms. K. Karthika, a second-year CSE (AI & ML) student. Ms. N. Neelavathi, also from II CSE (AI & ML), delivered the chief guest address, highlighting the importance of the Hands-on Training bridging the gap between academia and industry.
The event was coordinated by Mrs. Anuja R., Assistant Professor and Faculty In-Charge, and Mrs. A. Mercy Rani, Assistant Professor and Faculty Advisor. Their dedicated efforts ensured the smooth execution of the program.
The highlight of the event was a technical session by Mr. Daniel Raj. K, Assistant Professor, DR.G.U. POPE college of Engineering who conducted the Hands-on training, sharing valuable insights on career development and the evolving landscape of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, which sparked great enthusiasm among the students.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Bhavya Sree, a second-year CSE (AI & ML) student, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the management, principal, HOD, faculty members, and non-teaching staff for their support in making the event a grand success.
