The Department of Mechanical Engineering, in association with the SAE India Club, organized a Guest Lecture combined with a Live Demonstration on “Turbo Stratified Injection (TSI) with CVT – A New Beginning” on 18 July 2026 at the CAD Laboratory. The session was delivered by Mr. S. Amernath, Sales Team Leader, AR.A.S.P.V.P.V. Automobiles Pvt. Ltd., Nagercoil, who shared valuable insights into the working principles, advantages, and latest advancements in Turbo Stratified Injection (TSI) engines and Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) technology. The resource person also conducted a live demonstration using a Renault Kiger vehicle, explaining the engine layout, turbocharger, fuel injection system, and CVT operation, enabling students to understand the practical aspects of modern automotive technologies. The interactive session significantly enhanced the technical knowledge of the participants and bridged the gap between classroom learning and industrial practice.
