Rohini College of Engineering and Technology endeavours to provide education and training of consistently high standards through innovative and versatile programmes suitable for the current and emerging needs of the industry. The Department of Computer Applications organised a Five Days Value Added Course on “DevOps” at its campus to impart high-quality training to the students in the emerging areas.

To begin with, the workshop commenced with an inauguration session in the digital lab, which was presided over by the Dr. A. KALAI SELVI (HOD). This workshop was headed by Mr.Aashu Dew, AWS  Academy Accredited Educator, Working as a Sr. Consultant in MARCELLO TECH Trichy, an expert in the field, who delivered insightful sessions throughout the programme.

The field of cloud computing, particularly AWS, plays a vital role in the current IT landscape, offering scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud solutions. In recent years, industry and academia have shown growing interest in developing skills and deploying applications through cloud platforms such as AWS.

This one-week course, conducted from 19.03.25 to 24.03.25, provided hands-on experience in AWS services, including computing, storage, databases, networking, security, and deployment. Real-time exercises and examples were demonstrated using AWS Management Console and CLI tools, covering topics such as Introduction to AWS Cloud, EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, and more.

At the end of the session, the initiative taken by the Computer Applications Department was highly appreciated by the Principal, and Participation Certificates were distributed to all the participants.
