CAREER LAUNCH: Aptitude(Quantitative and Reasoning Ability) and Soft Skills with Interview

The Centre for Skill Development of Rohini College of Engineering and Technology (Autonomous) successfully conducted a Six-Days training program titled “CAREER LAUNCH: Aptitude(Quantitative and Reasoning Ability) and Soft Skills with Interview” on 13th to 18th July 2026. This program was organized exclusively for Final Year MCA and MBA students, in collaboration with TALENT64, a reputed industry training partner.

The program was designed to strengthen students' aptitude, reasoning, communication, and interview skills, preparing them for campus recruitment and career opportunities.

The training commenced with Quantitative Ability sessions on Day 1 and Day 2, where students enhanced their problem-solving skills through topics such as arithmetic, logical calculations, data interpretation, and aptitude-solving techniques frequently assessed in placement examinations.

On Day 3, the focus shifted to Reasoning Ability, enabling students to improve their logical thinking, analytical skills, and decision-making abilities through a variety of reasoning exercises and practice sessions.

The final three days (Day 4 to Day 6) were dedicated to Soft Skills and Intensive Interview Skills. The sessions covered communication skills, personality development, resume building, group discussions, professional etiquette, confidence building, and mock HR and technical interviews. These interactive sessions provided students with practical exposure to real-time interview scenarios and helped them develop the confidence required to excel in placement drives.

The Career Launch program was highly beneficial and received enthusiastic participation from the students. The comprehensive training enhanced their technical aptitude, interpersonal skills, and interview readiness, equipping them with the essential competencies required for successful careers in the IT industry. The Department of MCA and MBA remains committed to providing such career-oriented initiatives to empower students and improve their employability.
