The Department of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Rohini College of Engineering & Technology (Autonomous), organized a Workshop on Natural Language Processing (NLP) as part of the National Level Technical Symposium, SYRAX'26.

The primary objective of the workshop was to introduce participants to the core concepts, methodologies, and practical applications of Natural Language Processing. Held on August 31, 2026, at KC Lab 3, the event provided students with practical exposure to cutting-edge AI technologies that bridge human communication and machine understanding.

The sessions were expertly handled by the resource persons, Mrs. Ajitha Immanuel (Managing Director, Mavepizon Technologies, Tirunelveli) and Mr. D. Immanuel (Team Lead, Mavepizon Technologies, Tirunelveli). They provided valuable insights into the concepts, tools, and industrial use cases of language processing.

The trainers introduced fundamental NLP techniques and demonstrated how AI-powered tools process, analyze, and generate human language. Interactive lab exercises enabled students to explore modern language models and gain practical experience through hands-on activities in an engaging environment.

The programme served as a valuable platform for students to enhance their technical skills, explore emerging technologies, and understand the growing significance of NLP in academics and industry. The enthusiastic participation of the students contributed significantly to the success of the workshop.
