The joyous festival of Onam was celebrated by our college on 14th August 2026 with great enthusiasm, traditional spirit, and festive cheer. The celebration beautifully reflected the rich cultural heritage of Kerala, bringing together students and faculty members in a vibrant and joyful atmosphere.

The celebration featured a variety of traditional and entertaining activities, including captivating dance and singing performances, the grand arrival of Maveli, and Chanda Mela, which added colour, excitement, and festive charm to the occasion. Students enthusiastically participated in the various programmes, showcasing their talents while celebrating the cultural significance and traditions associated with Onam.

As part of the celebration, the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science actively participated by creating a beautiful and colourful Pookolam. The students worked together with great enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication to design the floral decoration, beautifully blending traditional artistic elements with their innovative ideas. This activity promoted teamwork, creativity, coordination, cultural awareness, and a sense of unity among the students.

The Onam celebration provided a wonderful opportunity for the students and faculty members of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science to come together beyond the academic environment and enjoy the spirit of togetherness. The delightful performances, traditional activities, grand arrival of Maveli, Chanda Mela, and the beautiful Pookolam decoration made the celebration a memorable and enjoyable occasion for everyone.
