DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING (ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND MACHINE LEARNING) ASSOCIATION INAGURATION (2026-2027)

The Inaugural Function of the Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) Association – ZETOX was held on 13 July 2026 at Rohini College of Engineering and Technology. The event marked the inauguration of the Association and the installation of office bearers for the academic year 2026–2027.

The programme aimed to encourage students to enhance their technical knowledge, leadership qualities, communication skills, and innovative thinking through various academic and co-curricular activities.

The function was graced by Chairman Mr. Neela Marthandan, Pro-Chairman Dr. Neela Vishnu, Managing Director Dr. Blessy Geo, Principal Dr. R. Rajesh, and Chief Guest Dr. J. K. Deepak Keyens, Team Manager, Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS).

The programme began with Tamil Thaai Vazhthu, followed by the welcome address delivered by Mr. Abilash, III Year AI & ML student.

In his presidential address, Dr. R. Rajesh highlighted the importance of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and emerging technologies. He encouraged students to develop analytical thinking, innovation, research aptitude, and problem-solving skills.

The Chief Guest delivered an insightful keynote on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Deep Learning, Cloud Computing, and Data Analytics. He emphasized industry expectations and motivated students to strengthen their coding skills, technical knowledge, certifications, and professional competencies.

Dr. I. Vallirathi, Head of the Department, introduced the newly elected office bearers and explained the Association's vision of promoting technical excellence through workshops, hackathons, expert talks, coding competitions, industrial interactions, and research activities.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Sivatharshini, III Year AI & ML student, expressing gratitude to the management, dignitaries, Chief Guest, faculty members, and students for making the programme a grand success.

The event concluded with the National Anthem. The programme was successfully organized under the guidance of Mrs. S. Devi, Assistant Professor and Faculty Advisor, with the support of all the faculty members of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
